The 2018 Plan de Dieu begins with inviting aromatics of cherries and black raspberries along with spices, lavendar, white pepper and minerals all soaring from the glass. On the palate this is well-balanced and possesses a gorgeous polished texture, which continues through the juicy finish. While this is drinking beautifully today, it should also hold up nicely for some short-term cellaring.
