The 2019 'Seguret' Cotes du Rhone Villages begins with aromas of dark cherries, plums and raspberries woven together spices, white pepper and hints of black licorice nuances all emerging from the glass. On the palate this is medium-bodied and supported by soft, round tannins making for a lovely velvety mouthfeel. Well balanced, with flavors of dark raspberries peppery spices and lavender all building up the mineral-laced finish. A lovely wine, which should continue to drink well over the course of the next five or so years.
