The 2011 Domaine Fond Croze Côtes du Rhône Villages 'Les Roches' brings aromas of blackberries, dark cherries, spices, creme de cassis, licorice, mesquite and some lavender notes adding complexity. This shows nice concentration with gorgeous round tannins and a caressing finish. This 100% Syrah comes from “Les Roches”, a lieu-dit of clay limestone soils on NW-facing slopes in the south of the appellation. (Best 2014-2020) - June, 2014 (JD)
