This opens with inviting aromas of blackberries, black cherries and dark currants along with tobacco, tar, loam and some graphite aromas. Full-bodied and nicely structured, however the fruit begins to dissipate on the finish, as it turns dry and becomes dominated by the mineral and tobacco leaf character.
