The 2014 Château Lynch-Bages is simply remarkable and one of the most compelling wines from the appellation. Displaying an impressive dark color, this slowly begins to open it releases captivating aromas of blackberries, dark cherries, tobacco, spices, licorice, violets and mineral nuances. This medium to full-bodied Pauillac is classy and beautifully structured, with a ripe core and a gorgeous velvety texture. It continues to impress as it remains balanced and focused with outstanding depth all the way through the ultra-long, mineral laced finish. Overall, the Lynch-Bages is a fantastic showing and will continue to age gracefully, offering many years of enjoyment ahead.
