The 2017 'Les Chenevottes' is fabulous. This instantly impresses as it displays stunning focus and precision, this Chassagne-Montrachet opens to inviting aromatics of orchard apples and white peaches, citrus zest, crushed stones and hints of vanilla blossoms which all develop beautifully in the glass. On the palate this is bright and vivid, with a gorgeous textured mouthfeel. This is beautiful today, but could certinaly age for at least a decade. At this early stage the Chenevottes looks to have the potential to be Pierre-Yves finest wine from the appellation in this vintage.
