The 2012 Domaine Marguerite Carillon Corton Les Maréchaudes Grand Cru opens up with pretty aromas of wild berries and zesty raspberries followed by spices, smoke, licorice and hints of eucalyptus. It offers a medium body that is supported by fine tannins and a firm structure. The fruit is high-pitched with wonderful acidity, giving this a fresh and vibrant character from start to finish.
