The 2020 Trésors de Loire Chinon opens with aromas raspberries and red berries that are accented by fresh tobacco, dried herbs and hints of lavender all coming together. The palate is medium-bodied and and light on its feet, driven by flavors of red berries and tobacco character that leads up to the finish. This is a youthful wine that is accessible now, but should also develop with another year or so in bottle.
