The 2016 Sancerre Rouge is a vibrant, pretty red, with aromas of rose petals, orange zest and wet stones wrapped in fresh raspberries and cranberries that all come together beautifully. On the palate this is elegant with a bright, racy core and a wonderful elegant personality through the finish. Overall, a lovely showing which offers plenty of youthful energy, yet should certainly settle down and evolve nicely in the cellar over the course of the next decade.
