The 1997 Paul Jaboulet Aine La Chapelle is a classy, refined Hermitage with lots of dried cherry and dried sweet plum followed by leather, coffee, Asian spice, chestnut, mineral and dried flowers. This is shows its beautiful and elegant character through gorgeous silky tannins and remarkable balance and it still shows excellent length on the finish. A fantastic Hermitage that is drinking beautiful right now. (Best through 2017) - October, 2013 (MD)
