The 2016 Château Hyot Castillon Cotes du Bordeaux is predominately Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Merlot. It opens to inviting aromas of dark cherries and plums, dried spices, tobacco and a crushed stone character that all take shape beautifully in the glass. On the palate this is medium-bodied with nicely polished tannins and fantastic velvety texture that continues through the pretty finish.
