The Château Hyot 'Reserve' is a wonderful showing every year from the Aubert Family and the 2019 is no exception. It begins with aromas of blackberries, dark plums, exotic spices, florals and toasted nuances that all come together beautifully in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied, with a round plush texture underlined by dark cherries, toast and spice notes, which linger on the finish. Delicious now and should continue to drink beautifully with some short-term cellaring..
