Chapoutier Cotes du Roussillon Villages Latour Domaine de Bila-Haut Occultum Lapidem brings an old-world and rustic style with notes of ripe dark berries, wet loamy earth, underbrush, herbs, and even some spicy potpourri florals, This really brings out the terrior with nice a fleshy character and coats your palate with a beautiful fine silky structure. Everything finishes up really soft and fresh. If you are having roasted meats pull the cork on this for a great pairing. The vines that produce the Syrah, Grenache and Carignan are located on Gneiss and schistous soils from the Devonian Period and limestone from Kimmeridgian Period.
