The 2016 'Coeur de Cuvée' bursts open with fresh inviting aromas of red and dark fruits along with tobacco, violets, pencil lead and new leather. On the palate this possesses a medium-plus body backed by nicely polished tannins that provide just enough structure and backbone. It goes on to display notable balance with a lovely combination of fruit and acidity keeping it fresh and inviting through the finish. This will be accessible in its youth and will offer an early drinking window that could ultimately span a decade.
