The 2019 Petit Soleil opens to aromas of cherries and berries alongside spices, licorice, herbs, cedar and minerals that all take shape in the glass. On the palate this is well-structured, displaying a fine-grained, velvety texture which is laced with dark cherries and spices that lead into a dry finish. This should be approachable early, but should also evolve nicely over the course of the next few years.
