The 2019 Chateau Le Pin Beausoleil is composed of 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It displays an inviting aromatic profile of fresh dark cherries and dark plums that are accented with tobacco, loam, cigar box, spices and minerals, which take shape. On the palate this possesses a medium-plus body, with gorgeous velvety tannins that are underlined by a lovely touch of acidity which provides a wonderful sense of freshness through the long finish. This is accessible at this early stage, and should also offer a drinking window that spans at least a decade.
