The Maison Evenstad Clos Des Angels offers up fresh violet flowers, huckleberry, black raspberry, graphite and smokey notes with additional forest floor aspects that develop with some time in the glass. Medium to full bodied, elegant and beautifully textured on the palate, it has a weightlessness to it, but it’s also muscular and strong. This will be a gorgeous wine to drink over the next decade or longer.
