My first time tasting this particular wine from Chateau de la Crée, it shows a medium to deep purple core, with a ruby neon rim in the glass. Notes of black cherry, huckleberry, baking chocolate, smoked earth, underbrush, and wet autumn leaves, all give way to a medium to full-bodied, structured, and concentrated wine that delivers a dark-fruit driven finish on the front palate, and a savory and scorched herb finish on the back palate. Only 76 cases were produced.
