The 2019 'Cuvée Prestige' Rasteau immediately impresses as it opens to inviting aromas of dark berries, cherries and plums along with spice cake, warm licorice, pepper and roasted herb nuances all taking shape. This possesses a medium-plus body backed by gorgeous velvety tannins and wonderful overall structure. It goes on to display excellent concentration all the way through the spice-tinged finish. While already quite appealing in its youth it should also offer a drinking window that spans more than a decade.
