The 2016 'Les Pierres' Chenin Blanc from Xavier Frissant sees a mix of both 40% wood and 60% steel treatment. This displays the same fresh aromas as the 100% steel bottling, however it shows a bit more weight and depth, as it offers lovely characteristics of lime, gooseberry and stony minerals.
