The 2013 ‘Pur Jus’ is a simply gorgeous no-sulfer, biodynamic Gringet from Dominique Belluard made in made in his “concrete-egg” tanks. This is not made every year and when it is, there is very small production. This is a pure expression of Gringet, and begins to open with aromas of beautiful mix of tropical fruits, florals and minerals. On this palate this displays wonderful minerality with lovely underlying acidity and impressive balance through the precise finish. An absolutely stunning wine and given its rarity, should definitely not be passed up if seen. (Best 2015-2024) - December, 2015 (JD)
