The 2020 Chateau Laroche Joubert Cotes du Bourg instantly opens to an inviting nose filled with aromas of black cherries, plums, tobacco and spices that all take shape beautifully. This is supported by soft tannins with a velvery mouthfeel that persists through the finish. While it is still on the youthful side, this has lots of appeal and should drink beautifully with another year or two of bottle age.
