MAISON EVENSTAD Pommard 'Les Petits Noizons' 2017

35-year old vines at over 1100 feet of elevation gives this wine beautiful complexity and elegance. The nose is more dark-fruit driven with black raspberry and black cherry dominating. Secondary characteristics are comprised of wet tilled earth, brown mushroom, vintage leather and some baking chocolate. There are some dried poultry herbs that are present on the back palate. High acidity, silky tannins and a lengthy finish complete the wine.
