The Les Pezerolles vineyard is at the northern end of Pommard, touching Beaune, and has a well-defined bouquet of freshly picked Bing cherry, fragrant violet flower, cranberry, black raspberry, and a hint of bay leaf and graphite. In the glass, it displays a medium brick-ruby color with a silvery rim, while the palate brings additional flavors of wild blueberry, pencil shavings, black tea, and soy. Crunch tannins and mouthwatering acidity complete the wine. Only 76 cases were made.
