The 2021 Côtes de Gascogne (Merlot-Tannat) from Bergeyre Labadie opens to aromas of wild berries along with dried soil, spices, white pepper and wet stones all coming together in the glass. Medium-bodied and structured around fine tannins that lead up to the spice-tinged finish.
