The 'Cuvée Raisins Bleus' is composed primarily of 95% Grenache along with 5% others varietals, which comes from three small plots, isolated in the woods of Rayas. The 2016 is a wonderful showing which begins with inviting aromas of raspberries and cherries which are woven together with garrigue, spices, licorice and wet stones that all take shape in the glass. Medium-plus bodied and beautifully structured with round, velvety tannins and a long, grippy finish. While this will need a bit more time, it is destined to evolve beautifully in the cellar for many years.
