The 2016 'Cuvée Antonin' is composed of 100% Grenache, from an exceptional terroir characterized by large rolled pebbles that store heat during the day and restore it to vines at night. The result is a beautifully ripe and concentrated wine, which begins with fantastic aromas of dark plums, dark cherries and raspberries woven together with spices, wild herbs and florals all developing in the glass. On the palate this is well balanced with a gorgeous plush texture and remarkable inner depth driven by a core of dark fruit and spices which expand on to the long, velvety finish. Outstansing now, but should become even more compelling as it evolves over the next decade.
