The 2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape 'Le Rigodon' begins with aromas of raspberries and plums woven together spices, herbs and minerals which all take shape. On the palate this is medium-bodied with a sweet, sappy core, laced with flavors of raspberries, plums, chocolate, spices and licorice which persists through the finish. Drinking wonderful now and should offer a drinking window that span the length of a decade.
