The 2018 Châteauneuf-du-Pape begins with aromas of dark cherries and black plums which are woven together with damp soil, spices, wild herbs and peppery nuances all taking shape. On the palate this is medium-bodied and well balanced with notable concentration. The flavors of raspberries, plums fruits and spices continue are underlined by traces of minerality which lead into the the silky finish which lingers on.
