A. OGIER Châteauneuf-du-Pape 'Héritages' 2013

The 2013 Héritages Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a blend of Grenache, along with Syrah, Mourvèdre. As this begins to open, aromas of cherries and plum come together with notes of pepper, wild herbs, spice and minerals all begin to release from the glass. It’s supported by a medium-full body with a velvety texture, which gains additional depth and complexity as it evolves in the glass. The finish is marked by lasting notes of cherries and pepper which linger on. Allow this some short-term cellaring for it to be at its best. (Best 2017-2025) - September, 2015 (JD)
