The 2014 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc from Domaine Saint Préfert is a fantastic blend of 80% Clairette and 20% Roussane. It shows a beautiful golden yellow color in the glass and the nose offers aromas of starfruit, lime blossom, stone fruits followed by hints of honeysuckle, asian pear, and pineapple. The palate has a gorgeous minerality and acidity with notes of white florals, lemon zest and ripe pineapples. This is a truly compelling release from Isabel Ferrando.
