CHÂTEAU MAUCOIL Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Blanc 2015

The 2015 Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc from Chateau Maucoil is a blend of Clairette, White Grenache, and Roussane. It offers expressive aromas of warm honey, elderflower, vanilla, peach, with hints of fennel and apricot. It has a solid core with balanced fruit flavors and a nice finish. There is also a hint of sweetness that shows up on the mid-palate. This should continue to drink well over the next few years. (Best 2017-2023) - February, 2017 (MD)
