The 2013 Clos des Brusquières is a lovely showing in this vintage. It begins with aromatics of black raspberries and roasted plums woven together with fresh savory herbs, spices, licorice, lavender and earthy minerals. On the palate this displays a wonderful round velvety mouthfeel, which leads into the spice tinged finish. This is already quite appealing, yet should continue to take on additional characteristics over the next few years. (Best 2018-2030) - December, 2017 (JD)
