The 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Domaine Saint Préfert is a beautiful showing. It begins with aromas of raspberries and plums which come together with spices, iron, wild herbs and lavender nuances all coming together in the glass. This medium-bodied red is well balanced and beautifully structured around fine tannins. It continues to impress with its remarkable poise, as ripe red berries are underlined by a lovely touch of acidity keeping it fresh and inviting through the finish. A wonderful job from Isabel Ferrando, which should thrive in the cellar for many years to come.
