The Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc from Domaine Mathieu is a blend of Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Picpoul and Bourboulenc. This opens to pretty aromatics of lemon, stone fruits, pear, straw and honey. It is a light to medium-bodied white with a crisp and clean finish. While certainly accessible now, this could also benifit from some another year or two of bottle age.
