The Châteauneuf-du-Pape 'Tradition' from Château Fortia begins with aromas of fresh cherries and red berries, which come together with spices, lavender, sweet licorice, iodine and crushed stones all taken shape. On the palate this is medium-bodied with soft, round tannins and flavors of red fruits and spices at its core which expand though the finish. Allow this another year or two of bottle age to flesh out.
