The 'Les Basses Mourottes' opens with pretty aromas of cherries and fresh cut roses along with notes of wet stones and subtle hints of smoke and spices. Elegant and refined with a medium body is structured around fine, silky tannins which lead up to the clean, well-focused finish. I expect this to continue to evolve with a few more years in bottle.
