The 2014 Rully 1er Cru ‘Marissou’ is another fantastic showing from Olivier Chanzy. This impresses with gorgeous aromas of pear, orchard fruits and lemon zest, woven together with smoke, flint and crushed stones all coming together beautifully in the glass. This is beautifully balanced and remains well focused through the mineral driven finish. While this is accessible now it should also benefit from some short term cellaring.
