This fresh and inviting Chardonnay comes from marl and limestone soils in the Viré Clessé appellation. This begins to open with aromas of lemon oil and orchard fruit woven together with minerals, white floral and orange zest nuances. This possesses a lovely elegant character and remains clean, focused and nicely balanced through the finish. This Chardonnay is very pretty right now should continue to show well over the next few years. (Best 2017-2020) - April, 2017 (JD)
