Laval’s Premier Cru Brut Nature 'Cumières' is a lovely blend of 50% Chardonnay and the remaining Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. It opens to aromatics of baked apples, hazelnut and toast with intense characteristics of crushed stones and chalky minerals that all come together beautifully in the glass. The palate is refined, displaying notable overall balance and focus, with intense minerality and toasty nuances leading up to the finish. This cuvée is based on 2016 and spent an extra year on lees before its disgorgment.
