The 2013 begins to impress with inviting aromas of yellow apples, ripe pears and lemon zest with hints of pastry crust and chalky mineral nuances all taking shape. On the palate this displays a wonderful texture that is balanced by the underlying acidity which provides a sense of freshness through the finish. This is drinking beautifully today and should go on to offer a drinking window that spans at least another five years.
