The 2012 vintage brut is a blend of Pinot Meunier (50%) and Chardonnay (50%) that is wonderfully balanced between the racy acidity and creamy texture. The nose displays subtle hints of ripe yellow pear, key lime, toasted brioche, and tangerine pith. The mousse starts out strong but mellows out with time in the glass delivering notes of lemon zest, crushed stone, and brioche. A delicious offering that should be enjoyed over the next 6-8 years.
