The 2014 Château Beauvillage offer a nice mix of blackberries, cassis, toast, spices, sweet pipe tobacco all take shape in the glass. Medium bodied, balanced and velvety with plenty of sweet cassis and spices which work their way through the finish. A lovely showing which is accessible now and should also handle some short-term cellaring. (Best 2017-2023) - May, 2017 (JD)
