The 2015 'Hespéria' from Domaine de la Rêverie instantly opens to aromas of black raspberries and roasted plums woven together with spices, licorice, lavender and wild herbs all taking shape in the glass. This continues to impress on the palate with its full body and gorgeous soft, round tannins, which make for an ultra-velvety mouthfeel. It makes a seamless transition across the palate and into the long spicy finish. Even at this youthful age this is already quite appealing, but will further benefit from a year or two of additional bottle age. (Best 2018-2026) - July, 2017 (JD)
