The 2014 Berkastler Badstube Riesling Kabinett bottling is a fantastic effort from this great estate. The Dr. H. Thanisch estate (the heirs Müller-Burggraef) spans over 12 hectares (over 30 acres) in the Mosel. This wine starts with aromatics of lemon/lime, mushroom, crushed wet rock and Pink Lady apple. There are flavors of Gala apple, Bartlett pear, Key lime and blue slate. Intense and mineral driven, this wine is absolutely gorgeous and will serve as a tremendous summer sipper.
