REICHSGRAF VON KESSELSTATT Josephshöfer Riesling Kabinett 2012

The Monople of Josephshöfer is part of the renowned wine village Graach. This is a south-facing, steep site with inclines of 60–70 degrees and lies at an altitude of up to 180 meters. The soils are deep, and composed of weathered Devonian slate with a high percentage of fine earth. This 2012 Riesling Kabinett is absolutely sublime as it bursts open with seductive aromas of white peach, clementine, white florals, exotic spices and even a white tea character, which all come together beautifully. On the palate this is slightly off-dry with remarkable overall balance and precision. This remains fresh and inviting all the way succulent finish. While this is absolutely delicious today, it should continue to age gracefully for years to come. (Best 2016-2028) - June, 2016 (JD)
