PAUL ANHEUSER Schlossböckelheimer Königsfels Riesling Kabinett 2013

The 2013 'Schlossböckelheimer Königsfels' Kabinett from Anheuser is sourced from a volcanic soil vineyard, which has very steep slopes. This wine opens with aromatics of crushed wet rock, lemon rind, pink grapefruit blossoms and kumquat. There are flavors of Mandarin orange, wet rock, and Pazzaz apple that sit aside bright minerality. This is a joy to drink and a fantastic value out of the Nahe. (Best 2016-2026) - June, 2016 (OB)
