A great effort in this vintage, this Spätburgunder shows beautiful aromas of stewed cherry, cranberries and orange, that combine with lighter earthy tones. The palate displays a lovely combination of weight and mouth-watering acidity. Black tea, pomegranate seed and cola flavors all nicely combine as this excellent wine continues to demonstrate excellent range through the finish. This is seriously good Spätburgunder given its modest price.
