WEINGUT REICHSRAT VON BUHL Armand Riesling Kabinett 2012

Von Buhl began producing wines in 1849. This particular Riesling comes from a selection of vineyards grown in sandstone and basalt, located in the Mittlehaardt region. This wine begins with aromas reminiscent of petrol, slate, mushroom and pear. This leads to flavors of lemon/lime, slate, red delicious apple and starfruit. This has a delicious and open style that has racy minerality. Hard to resist now, this may improve in a year or two, as this has the potential to pick up more secondary flavors.
