The 2013 'Pelagrilli' is a fantastic Brunello which instantly impresses with its inviting aromas of dried cherries, sweet red berries, leather, orange peel, wild herbs and exotic spices that all come together beautifully in the glass. This possesses a gorgeous medium body which is beautifully strucuted with silky tannins. It goes on to display excellent overall balance and a lovely finessed mouthfeel leading into the long, grippy finish. While this is simply fantastic now, it also possesses the characteristics to indicate a drinking window that will span close to two decades.
